Abstract:
Cleantech is the anti-silo. Unlike many paradigm shifts, cleantech is ill-suited to wooden taxonomies often used to describe technology. The technical applications of clean technology are equally diverse as the myriad scientific disciplines that developed them. Perhaps no other single company embodies cleantech’s multi-disciplinary, multi-sector spirit as enzymes giant Novozymes. William Brent, the head of the cleantech practice at marketing communications firm Weber Shandwick, recently spoke with Novozymes CEO Steen Riisgard to get his perspective on COP15, batteries, the future of waste-to-fuel and other issues.
