Clean Tech Law & Business is the first peer-reviewed journal devoted exclusively to the pursuit of environmentally sustainable technology. Global warming, energy insecurity, biodiversity loss and water scarcity are only symptoms of unsustainable forms of economic and social organization inherited from the industrial age. Clean tech will drive the vast transformation needed for sustainable economic growth in the 21st Century. The scope and scale of the clean tech challenge is awesome - so too are the opportunities. This journal hopes to chart, however imperfectly, the legal, financial and policy channels necessary to bring clean tech markets to maturity.

Individual issues will focus on one or two separate themes in the clean tech space. The inaugural issue explores various dimensions driving the debate over cap-and-trade as well as trends in solar-energy finance and intellectual property.
